I Guess I Should Talk About Hubpages

I joined Hubpages.com about 2 months ago, hoping to make some money. Shortly after joining and exploring the site a bit, I discovered that one of the oldest user's great achievements was that he now makes about $45 a month... yeah. So, I now have 5 hubs and I'm not even sure I want them up there anymore. They were a little forced, and I don't like feeling pressured to write at least a certain amount of words. There are no guidelines for how many words a hub has to be. But, If I'm going to write something that's meant to be read by as many people as possible, then I want it to be good, and full of as much information as I can gather on the subject (at least 500 words IMO). While I like the idea of the site, it's kind of a downer knowing that someone who's been there much longer than me, and has put much more effort into their writing there than I have, is only making $45 a month. I can make more than that on Mturk in a week, easy. So, in conclusion; hubpages.com is a fun place to go if you feel you can write several articles on subjects people want to read about. Also, it's good for placing Adsense.
